Welcome to Goldthorpe Primary Academy. Our staff are committed to providing the best possible opportunities for our children to learn and grow, and to develop skills, interests and expertise in order to become well-rounded, resilient, hard-working citizens of the future. Every child deserves to, and is capable of achieving their full potential. There has been a Primary School in the village since 1903. Our current academy building was completed in September 2016 and offers a wonderful, state of the art hub to serve the community and support the learning and development of our children. Goldthorpe has a very proud history and is even mentioned in the Doomsday Book. I look forward to working with you in the coming weeks, months and years. If you ever need anything, please do not hesitate to get in touch – we are here to serve your community.
